“Ano, sorry Hitsugaya-kun.” Her features thinned slightly while her brown eyes watched the male walk over back to his desk while she sat out his ice cream in front of his chair before starting to each her peaches happily. 

“Just eat your fruit, will you?” At the sight of her stunned expression, the harsh reaction waned instantly and instead, he shifted his attention onto the ice cream she placed before him. Yes, he hated that name. And yes, he wished she would just stop using it. But, he also knew Hinamori. And she never listened.

“But.. But, you don’t have to get bowls! I have my peaches and the ice cream is yours. I even brought a spoon. Shiro-chan! Sit, no need to leave.” She lifted a palm up to wave the male back over to his desk.

Great. That horrid nickname was back.

“—Hinamori.” He warned, brows quickly creasing into a frown as he halted, just beside his table. “What did I tell you about that name?” Running an aggravated hand through the spiked locks of his hair, the captain gave a tired sigh and instantly went back to take his previous position. Well, at least he could stay in his office.

“Of course, of course.” She then casually shut the door with her foot before heading over to his desk, “It’s watermelon. I know how much you like that.” Tashiro, be happy and eat her homemade ice cream, she made it just for you..

“Tch, fine.” She got his attention now. “Sit down. I’ll get the bowls.” He added and stood up, rounding his desk. It better be worthwhile though. His kitchen is located at the end of the hallway. And to reach it, he needs to go outside. Into the scorching heat.

“—Shir—Hitsugaya-kun! I have ice cream!” She chimed while stepping into his office. Nice and cold~ Better than outside.

“…Good for you, I guess. Now close that door, the heat is getting in.” But first, she’ll have to deal with grumpy Toshiro. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy, Hinamori.

Once, huh? Well just for that, he is not getting up now. She can let herself in.

Excellent. He’ll be waiting. But she should probably avoid using that particular nickname, or the temperature will go from pleasant to freezing within seconds.
